A Bit About Me
Everybody has a story and this is mine...
I am a diligent, hardworking and motivated clinician with a thirst for knowledge. My clinical interests include care of the family unit across the lifespan; from conception, neonates and infants through to adolescence and young adults starting their own families.
Since graduation as a Registered Nurse in 2016, I have worked in a variety of areas from Aged care, Acute Paediatrics, Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care, Primary and Community Health and Oncology/Haematology & Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT). All in tertiary statewide referral hospitals in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
As a Midwife I have worked across the entire pregnancy continuum providing continuity of care in three of Australia’s biggest tertiary and quaternary maternity centres, both with over 6000 annual births: Westmead Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Women (NSW) as well as the Royal Women’s Hospital (VIC).
I aim to provide support, mentorship and a voice to all nurses and midwives within Australia, and actively support and maintain membership with the Australia College of Nursing (ACN), the peak nursing body within Australia. I participated as an Emerging Nurse Leader, from 2019-2021, showing my continued dedication to furthering the profession of nursing leadership within Australia and global contexts.
It is my future goal to become a Nurse/ Midwife Practitioner with a focus on Maternal-Child and Family health.
